My first cheer shoes were keapa cheer shoes, you know those ones with the color inserts. Anyways, do you ever feel like certain shoes feel like big clunky bricks? When tumbling, you want to have a cheer shoe that is tight, feels light and is super supportive. As I grew older, those keapa cheer shoes became harder to cheer in. This was 20 some years ago so now there are SO many more options. So how do you choose which shoe is the best fit?
Well, I compiled a list of the top cheer shoes for you. Please take note that it really depends on your foot, and what style of cheer leading you are actually doing! If you are sidelining cheer like Pop Warner or AYC, even high school cheer. You are going to want a more durable, thicker shoe because you of course will be out in the elements. If you are an all-start or rec cheerleader, only cheering on that big beautiful blue mat you are going to want a lighter shoe. I loved my nfinity shoes, they literally felt like I was tumbling barefoot! So lets get at it.
Nfinity Titan
I am loving these shoes! They are an old school meets modern style shoe where the high top allows for your ankle to have fantastic stability. Which is totally perfect for those who are tumbling. These cheer shoes are just over 6 ounces so they are light and just right if you like the high top style and great ankle support. Bonus it comes in white and black!
Nfinity Flyte
Shoes totally matter when you are a flyer. With the right grip, you can be really flying high! You want your bases to love your shoes, and be able to grab it great. I would always do better flying when my bases had a solid grip on my foot. These nfinity flyte shoes are only 3.8 ounces which is incredibly light! They are designed specifically for comfort and fit. Bonus it comes in white and black!
Nfinity Vengeance
I am loving these cheer shoes! They practically feel like air. Tumbling and stunting in these is practically cheering without shoes but having a solid support. A bonus with these shoes is that they have an open mesh. So you can definitely have fun with that by having your team wear all the same color socks to match your uniform!
